Cannabis and cocktails, a late-summer sunset, and the hazy smoke of your neighbors’ lighting up around the dinner table. Such was the scene at a “Harvest” dinner in Boulder, Colorado, composed by Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg and his team from nearby Blackbelly Market. Each plate of the four-course dinner was paired with a cocktail and a flavor-enhancing marijuana strain, provided by sponsor Headquarters Cannabis Company. Dinner began with goat-cheese-and-pistachio truffles, gazpacho, and locally sourced greens (the lettuce kind), and went on to juicy flatiron steak, followed by toasted s’mores and, presumably, toasted, happy dinner guests.
